Staff at the Pakistani Embassy in Tajikistan warmly welcomed Pakistani motorcyclists participating in the 2025 Central Asian Motorcycle Rally, according to the website of the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.
The motorcyclists arrived in Tajikistan on August 15 through the Fotekhobad border crossing and were greeted with traditional Tajik hospitality. En route to Dushanbe, the participants explored the cultural and historical landmarks of Khujand. In Friendship Square, next to the monument to Shah Ismaili Somoni, the motorcyclists planted a "Tree of Friendship" to symbolize the strengthening of fraternal relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan.

He noted the motorcyclists' enthusiasm for tourism and emphasized the importance of this type of tourism for strengthening regional ties, intercultural communication, and promoting the tourism potential of Central Asia.
The caravan, known as the "Friendship Caravan," consists of 16 Pakistani motorcyclists and set off from Islamabad on August 1, 2025. As part of the regional tour, the participants plan to travel through Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, visiting cultural and historical sites and exploring the natural beauty of the Khatlon and Darvaz regions.
