Young chess players from Tajikistan achieved high results at the Central Asian Chess Championship, which was held in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic. The competition was attended by athletes from countries of the region in various age categories, the Chess Federation of Tajikistan reported.
Ilkhomi Jaloliddin became the winner of the tournament in the under-18 age group, winning the gold medal and demonstrating a high level of preparation and strategic thinking.
In turn, Sayfiev Murodali took third place in the age group under 8 years old, showing confident play and competitive nature, which allowed him to win the bronze medal.
The organizers noted the strong competition among the participants and expressed gratitude to all national federations for training athletes. Representatives of the Tajik delegation emphasized the importance of participating in such tournaments to exchange experience and improve the level of sports skills.
