An exhibition entitled "The Art of Perceiving Art" has opened at the Tashkent House of Photography, bringing together artists from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, inviting the viewer to become a participant in a deep dialogue about the place of art in the modern world, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reports.
The project "The Art of Perceiving Art" is the fifth exhibition of this format in Tashkent. This year, 16 artists are participating, including famous names: Zhasvant Annazarov, Nuriddin Isaev, Erach Olimov, Almazbek Sharshekeev and others. Each of them presents their unique vision and attitude to the key theme of the exhibition – how we perceive art and how it perceives us.
The exhibition covers a wide range of genres and techniques: from realistic paintings to bold abstractions. The viewer will not only see, but also comprehend, participate in the process of perception, which becomes part of the concept of the project.
The exhibition curator Manushak Arushanova defined the main idea of the project with the motto: "Art for art's sake." However, this formula here does not lead away from reality, but on the contrary, it focuses attention on rethinking the place of the artist in a society where artificial intelligence plays an increasingly important role.
The exhibition looks to a new era — the Third Renaissance, when technology, man and art come together to respond to the challenges of modernity. Through their works, the authors invite us to think about humanism, harmony with nature and sustainable development.
The works of artist Lutfullo Kadyrov attract special attention of the audience. Despite the absence of arms, he creates his paintings with his feet, striking the audience with his strength of spirit and sincere love for art. His example inspires and inspires respect. On the opening day, he held a master class for visitors with the support of the Nevskaya Palitra Art Factory and the Beta company.
The culmination of the opening ceremony was the performance of the sculptor, People's Artist of Uzbekistan Zhasvant Annazarov. In this live action, he showed the creative process of creating a sculpture, filling the space with meaning and emotions. This became a real dialogue between the author and the audience and the space, in which art ceases to be static.
A unique feature of the exhibition was the special notebooks with the inscription: "The Art of Perceiving Art", where each visitor can leave their opinion and feelings about what they saw. Thus, the viewer becomes a full-fledged participant in the artistic process, and the artists receive feedback that helps them grow and rethink their own creativity.
The exhibition will run until May 25
This is not just an exhibition – it is a platform for dialogue, inspiration and deep reflection on how we see art and what it is becoming in the 21st century.
