Tajikistan has joined the Pan-European Commission of the World Health Organization on Climate and Health, NIAT Khovar reports with reference to the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The World Health Organization Pan-European Commission on Climate and Health operates under the auspices of the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe. It consists of 11 members from 9 countries, including 10 highly qualified experts and one scientific adviser.
The WHO Pan-European Commission on Climate and Health is chaired by the former Prime Minister of Iceland and brings together experts with extensive experience in health, sustainable development, environment, law and public policy from across Europe and Central Asia.
