On July 21, a formal welcoming ceremony was held in Ulaanbaatar's central square for Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in Mongolia on a state visit. The press service of the Tajik President reported this.

President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh warmly welcomed President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, after which he invited the distinguished guest to the podium of honor.
The official ceremony continued with a report from the Commander of the Honor Guard, the performance of the national anthems of Tajikistan and Mongolia, Emomali Rahmon's march along the honor guard line, a tribute to the Mongolian national flag, the introduction of the official delegations of the two countries, and a ceremonial march of the honor guard units past the heads of state.




At the end of the ceremony in honor of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, 21 artillery salvos were fired.
