Amidst intense heat, the Main Directorate of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan has called on residents and visitors to strictly observe fire safety regulations.
The agency noted that high temperatures increase the risk of fires, so citizens are advised to exercise particular caution when using electrical and gas equipment.
In particular, the fire service advises against overloading electrical circuits, monitoring the proper functioning of electrical and gas appliances, and always turning off electrical appliances and gas supplies before leaving the home.
Furthermore, owners of gas cylinders are advised to store them in the shade, protecting them from direct sunlight. The agency also urged promptly replace damaged and worn electrical wiring.
Special attention has been paid to observing safety precautions in open areas. The fire service has issued a reminder that fires are prohibited near fields, pastures, hayfields, and feed storage areas.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that following these simple rules helps prevent fires, preserve human life and health, and protect property and the environment.
