On June 17, the international scientific and practical conference "Trends in Education Development in the CIS Countries" was held in Dushanbe. This was reported by the Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by representatives of educational institutions, scientists, experts, and specialists in the field of vocational education from Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.
The conference discussed issues related to the digitalization of the educational system, the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process, the training of competitive specialists, the development of vocational education, strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and the manufacturing sector, as well as the implementation of joint projects and the exchange of experience.
Farhod Rahimi, Chairman of the Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education, noted that the rapid development of technology, the digitalization of the economy, and changes in the labor market require increased attention to the training of qualified personnel and the development of human capital.
According to him, in today's environment, primary and secondary vocational education has become one of the key factors in economic development. It is institutions at this level that train specialists for industry, energy, construction, transportation, agriculture, information technology, and other sectors of the economy.
Conference participants noted that CIS countries are actively developing their vocational education systems, implementing modern technologies, updating educational programs, and strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and businesses.
In addition, the event addressed issues of international cooperation, exchange of experience, and the introduction of modern educational technologies into the educational process.
