In Tajikistan, seasonal restrictions on the movement of large and heavy trucks will be introduced from May 1 to August 31 due to high temperatures.
According to the Transport Supervision Service, at temperatures above 25°C, the movement of vehicles over 6 tons will be prohibited daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. During this period, such vehicles will be allowed to travel primarily at night.
The agency emphasized that this measure is aimed at protecting the road surface from destruction in hot weather.
Violations of the established rules are subject to fines in the amount of 50 to 70 calculation indicators, which amounts to 3,900 to 5,460 somoni.
