The Government of Tajikistan has adopted a series of resolutions establishing three new state institutions within the State Institution "International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan." The corresponding documents were signed by Prime Minister Emomali Rahmon, according to the presidential press service.
Resolutions No. 119, No. 120 and No. 121 provide for the establishment of the following institutions:
The Academy of Tourism will train specialists in tourism, the hotel business, and tourism project management.
The Institute of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence will focus on training personnel in the fields of information technology, the digital economy, and the development of artificial intelligence-based solutions.
The Institute of World Economy and Diplomacy is aimed at training specialists in international economics, foreign economic relations, and diplomacy.
Each institution will have its own charter and structural division, approved along with regulations. The creation of new institutions complies with Articles 52, 53, and 128 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The implementation of these initiatives is aimed at expanding the country's educational infrastructure, training highly qualified specialists for tourism, the digital economy, and international relations, and integrating Tajikistan into global economic and educational processes.
The government emphasizes that the new institutions will become an important part of the republic's strategy for the development of higher education and innovative technologies, as well as a tool for strengthening international cooperation in science, economics, and diplomacy.
