In Tajikistan's capital, law enforcement officers detained 41-year-old Dushanbe resident Firuzamokh Davlyatova for systematically distributing videos online that defame women and contain obscene language. This was reported by the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the agency, Davlyatova had been active on social media as a blogger for some time. During regular live broadcasts and posts, she used coarse and obscene language, made statements that violated moral norms, and undermined social values, including the honor and dignity of women and mothers.
Despite repeated official warnings, the blogger continued her illegal actions, ignoring the demands of law enforcement officials.
"Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs drew up an administrative report against F. Davlyatova. The materials have been submitted to the court for review in accordance with the established procedure," the department's press service reported.
The court sentenced F. Davlyatova to administrative arrest for a period of 7 days.
Law enforcement agencies remind people of the need to adhere to moral standards, rules of public communication, and legislation regulating behavior on social media.
