In Tajikistan's Khatlon region, 23 teachers received land plots as part of a program to support education workers, the regional administration reported.
The measure is aimed at raising the social status of teachers, creating conditions for their retention in rural areas, and eliminating staff shortages in schools.
According to authorities, more than 3,400 teachers in Khatlon Region have been provided with land plots since 2007. In 2025, 123 teachers have already received similar support.
The regional administration emphasized that the allocation of land to teaching staff is part of state education policy aimed at stimulating the influx of young specialists and improving the quality of education in rural schools.
