In the context of instability on the global stage, China and Central Asian countries demonstrate unity of views, said Ye Tianle, an expert at the Eurasia Institute of the Chinese Academy of Contemporary International Relations.
Ye Tianle, an expert at the Eurasia Institute of the Chinese Academy of Contemporary International Relations: "Another extremely interesting aspect is the views of the Central Asian countries and China on the changing world. The fact is that the Central Asian states and China have a most important common goal – the desire for further peace and stability in the world. This is an area of converging interests of both sides. Within the framework of this paradigm, the question arises: how to strengthen the role of China and the Central Asian countries in the international arena? How to achieve greater coordination and a unified position on key global issues? Or, taking the China-Central Asian mechanism as a model, show other countries how China and neighboring states first resolve border issues, and then consistently develop cooperation in the economy, security and other areas. Such an example can convince more countries that China's cooperation with its neighbors and other states has no hidden conditions. That China sincerely strives for mutually beneficial development for all parties."
