A solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial plaque in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union Domullo Azizov took place in the capital of Belarus. The event was held as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Belarus.
The ceremony began with the laying of a wreath on behalf of the Embassy of Tajikistan. The event was attended by the standard-bearers of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, temporarily located in Minsk, which became a symbol of military honor, continuity of generations and memory of the heroes.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member States to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the CIS Member States in Belarus, a delegation of the CIS Executive Committee, representatives of the Central District Administration of Minsk, employees of the Central District Education Department, diplomats of the Embassy of Tajikistan, as well as members of the Tajik diaspora.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus and Permanent Representative of the country to the CIS statutory bodies Bakhtovar Safarzoda noted: "Perpetuating the memory of our heroes is not only an act of gratitude, but also an important component of preserving historical truth and strengthening friendship between peoples. Domullo Azizov became one of the symbols of the courage of the Tajik people. He died heroically in 1943, clearing a path through a minefield under enemy fire. His feat inspired the fighters to a decisive attack. For his bravery, he was awarded the highest award – the title of Hero of the Soviet Union."

At the end of the ceremony, the participants visited the memorial room created in Minsk Secondary School No. 35, which bears the name of Domullo Azizov. The exhibition features his bust, archival materials and photographs telling the story of the warrior's heroic path.
The school students gave a special atmosphere to the event: they solemnly greeted the guests with a traditional loaf of bread and also performed a song in the Tajik language, thereby emphasizing the spiritual connection between the peoples of Tajikistan and Belarus, based on friendship, respect and common historical memory.
