On July 10, as part of preparations for the next meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states, a meeting of experts from the ministries of internal affairs of the Commonwealth countries was held, who discussed draft documents submitted for consideration at the next meeting of the Council, the press service of the Executive Committee of the Organization reports.
The event was attended by delegations from the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The meeting was opened by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Colonel General of Police Vladimir Leonidovich Kubyshko.
The event was chaired by the Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Major General of the Internal Service Roman Aleksandrovich Terentyev.
Based on the results of the work, the experts discussed and agreed on draft documents, in particular, on increasing the effectiveness of cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Commonwealth countries in the field of expert and forensic activities, on the formation of the Interstate Information Bank and ways to improve information interaction, on the draft Concept for the development of information interaction of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the fight against crimes committed using (in the field of) information and communication technologies, as well as on the draft recommendations for the regulatory framework for relations related to the use of individual mobility devices by road users.
