On July 11, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Penjikent as part of his continuing working visit to the Sughd region, the press service of the head of state reported.
The first event of the working visit was the opening of a new building of the preschool educational institution "Nilufar" in the rural jamoat of Loik Sherali of Penjikent.
The new three-story institution is designed for 300 pupils and was built with the aim of fulfilling the orders and instructions of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon to expand the coverage of children by the preschool education system.
The institution is equipped with everything necessary for high-quality education and upbringing. Classrooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and other rooms are equipped with modern furniture and visual aids that correspond to the age characteristics and interests of children.
The opening of the preschool institution "Nilufar" was timed to coincide with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of State independence and became a significant gift for the residents of Penjikent, who sincerely expressed their gratitude to the President of the country.
During his familiarization with the conditions of the institution, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, highly praised the quality of construction work and the created educational environment, and also instructed the responsible persons to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and national identity.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon ceremoniously opened a regional hospital in the village of Loik Sherali in Penjikent.
As reported, the construction of the regional hospital was carried out within the framework of the implementation of the social policy of the Head of State and is aimed at improving the quality of medical services to the population. The institution was built according to a modern design and is designed to serve 25 thousand residents of the village of Loik Sherali, four neighboring jamoats, as well as the population of the Ayni and Gorno-Matchinsky districts.
The construction of the facility began three years ago with the support of the Executive Authority of the State Authority of the Sughd Region. During the construction work, 200 local residents were temporarily employed.
The three-story building with a basement includes departments of internal medicine, surgery, neurology, maternity, pediatrics, laboratories and other treatment and diagnostic rooms. The hospital has 100 beds and is equipped with modern medical equipment.
During his familiarization with the capabilities of the new building, the President of the country highly praised the quality of the work performed and instructed those responsible to ensure a high level of medical services, as well as to pay attention to the training of qualified and experienced personnel.
The presence of a modern boiler room and connection of the building to the heating system allows for the provision of uninterrupted medical services during the autumn-winter period.
In addition, the head of state handed over an ambulance to the hospital.
After reviewing the conditions of the regional hospital, President Emomali Rahmon also remotely launched the operation of five more new healthcare facilities.
This is a branch of the State Dental Center in the center of Penjikent, three health centers in the villages of Ravot, Kukhdoman, Shurnova, as well as an additional building for patients of the state skin and venereology hospital in the village named after Loik Sherali. All these facilities were built for the 35th anniversary of State independence with the participation of the population, entrepreneurs, with the support of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the executive body of state power of Penjikent, and have all the necessary conditions for high-quality service.
