The national team of the Republic of Tajikistan is taking part in the 57th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO-2025), which is being held from July 5 to 14 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
According to the organizers, the current Olympiad will be the largest in terms of the number of participants in its entire history. More than 300 students from more than 90 countries will take part in the intellectual competitions. The Olympiad has been held since 1968 and is considered one of the most prestigious scientific events in the field of chemistry among schoolchildren.
The current event is organized by the UAE Ministry of Education, and the media partner is Al Ain University.
The Tajikistan team at IChO-2025 is represented by four talented schoolchildren: Kamoliyon Muhammadsoleh, Boyzoda Abdullo, Razakova Shahzoda and Batrutdinov Artem. The team is accompanied by chemistry teacher Salimov Daler.
"The participation of Tajik schoolchildren in such international Olympiads is an important step towards the development of science and education in the country. This also contributes to strengthening the international image of Tajikistan in the field of academic achievements," the department emphasized.
The results of the Olympiad will be announced on July 14.
