The Institute for Advanced Studies at the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University has successfully completed another cycle of professional retraining under the program "Primary School Teacher". This was reported by the press service of RTSU.
Over the course of a year, 13 students underwent training aimed at mastering key pedagogical disciplines necessary for working in primary schools. The program was based on the participants' existing higher education and included a comprehensive exam in pedagogy, psychology and teaching methods, as well as the defense of final qualifying works in the format of academic projects.
The courses paid special attention to the competence-based approach, the use of Russian textbooks and methodological materials, and the adaptation of the standards of primary education of the Russian Federation to the conditions of Tajik schools. In addition, the program contributed to the development of practical skills and modern professional competencies.
All students successfully passed the final tests and received diplomas of professional retraining, which give them the right to teach in elementary grades.
This program is being implemented with the aim of training qualified teachers for schools with Russian as the language of instruction and contributes to raising the level of primary education in Tajikistan. The Institute for Advanced Studies noted the high level of motivation of the students, thanked them for their responsibility, desire for professional growth and serious attitude to the educational process.
