A conference dedicated to the results of the implementation of the agreement between the finance ministries of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation on the provision of free technical assistance in the field of tax administration was held in the capital of Tajikistan. The event was initiated by the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, NIAT Khovar reports.
As the Tax Committee reported to the agency, the conference was held in person and brought together over 200 participants, including representatives of ministries and departments of the two countries, taxpayers and specialists of the Main Center for the Implementation of Scientific Innovations of the Russian Federation.
Chairman of the Tax Committee of Tajikistan Nusratullo Davlatzoda emphasized that within the framework of the agreement, significant work was done to develop information technologies and improve the tax system. In particular, a concept of taxation of movable and immovable property; a model of interaction with taxpayers; elements of the corporate style of tax authorities; an updated system "Personal Account of the Taxpayer" in the form of a mobile application were developed.
In addition, proposals were presented to modernize tax legislation, including in terms of value added tax, taxation of personal income, as well as mechanisms for monitoring the activities of foreign companies providing electronic services in the republic.
An automated VAT control system and a new mobile application "Personal Room" designed for individuals were demonstrated at the conference. As explained by representatives of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, the application allows for automatic analysis of data from electronic invoices and declarations, as well as reconciliation of information between taxpayers and their counterparties.
The head of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, Daniil Egorov, noted that these technologies help to effectively identify tax risks and prevent VAT evasion, ensuring the transparency of tax calculations.
According to the organizers, joint work on digitalization of tax administration in Tajikistan will continue. This will improve the quality of services provided, increase the efficiency of tax control and expand the country's tax base.
