A seminar on sports medicine, organized by the Football League of Tajikistan, was held in Dushanbe, the press service of the Federation reports.
The event was attended by doctors representing clubs of the top and first leagues of Tajikistan, futsal clubs of the country, as well as medical specialists working in the national teams of Tajikistan.
The main goal of the seminar was to exchange experiences and discuss modern approaches in the field of sports medicine. Participants discussed current topics, including injury prevention, recovery processes, the importance of proper hydration, nutrition and rehabilitation of players.
The seminar covered the following topics:
🔺 Injury and recovery: modern methods of treatment and rehabilitation periods for football players;
🔺 Concussion: severity, diagnosis and treatment principles;
🔺 Intensive care: providing emergency care in critical situations;
🔺 Sports psychology: working with the psychological state of players, stress resistance;
🔺 Body hydration: maintaining the water balance of football players before, during and after matches;
🔺 Doping control: rules, procedures and measures to prevent violations of the anti-doping code;
🔺 Fungal skin diseases: methods of treatment and prevention in the sports environment.
The closing of the seminar was attended by the Vice President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, Sayvali Doniyorzoda, and the General Director of the Football League of Tajikistan, Subkhon Shodiev, who thanked the speakers for their informative speeches at the seminar and noted the important role that doctors play in modern football.
