Ahead of the second China-Central Asia summit, which will be held in the Kazakh capital from June 16 to 18, Chinese analysts have said economic ties between China and the region have strengthened significantly amid global trade difficulties.

As reported by the First Voice information platform, a series of video materials under the general title “China and Central Asia: Creating Dawn amid a Tariff War” has been prepared especially for the upcoming summit. The first episode is dedicated to the current state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Beijing and the Central Asian states.

According to experts, the region is becoming a key element of China's sustainable trade strategy. In the context of intensifying global economic competition and growing protectionist sentiments, China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative continues to serve as an effective tool for strengthening foreign economic ties.

Yang Jin, deputy director of the Central Asia and Caucasus Research Department at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, noted that China and Central Asia have developed "strong economic and trade complementary relations" that provide a solid foundation for further deepening the partnership.

According to him, despite external challenges, the parties are demonstrating steady growth in trade turnover, developing infrastructure projects and logistics routes that contribute to the formation of a new economic landscape in Eurasia.

The upcoming summit in Astana is expected to give additional impetus to cooperation and coordinate efforts to expand transport and energy corridors between China and countries in the region.

Video materials are available on the official platforms of the organizers.
