The Football Federation of Tajikistan continues the process of searching and selecting young talents throughout the country as part of the FIFA Talent Coach program, FFT reports.
The goal of the project is to select a new generation of players (U-14), who will begin to live, train and study at the FFT Academy from September of this year.
This time, the players will be tested on May 17 in Bokhtar and on May 18 in the Jalolidin Balkhi region.
22 talent identification events were planned across the country to support the FIFA Talent Development Scheme's mission of giving every talented person a chance to become a footballer, no matter where the player lives or the circumstances.
These events are led by FIFA Talent Coach Claudio Garcia from Spain, who works for the Football Federation of Tajikistan, and is also responsible for the FFT Academy development programme with players (U-15).
Starting in September, the top 25 new players who prove themselves during selection will join the U-15 age group.
The events held this year are open to:
– Players born in 2011 with a good football level;
– Talented players born in 2010 who believe they can play for the U-15 team but due to circumstances were not selected or were unable to join the program earlier.
