Measures to prevent violations of parking rules near garbage containers and entrances to residential buildings have been tightened in the capital of Tajikistan, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Dushanbe reported .
According to the capital's police, cases of improper parking of cars near garbage sites are recorded daily, which creates serious obstacles to the work of public utilities and the timely removal of household waste.
“Due to the blocking of access roads to containers, public utilities are forced to face difficulties in carrying out their work, which leads to the accumulation of garbage and creates a threat to the sanitary and epidemiological situation in certain areas of the city,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
In order to prevent such cases, police officers conduct preventive and explanatory work among drivers and vehicle owners. Raids and checks are also organized to identify violators.
Cars parked in unauthorized places or creating obstacles for specialized equipment are towed to impound lots, and their owners are subject to administrative liability.
"Compliance with traffic rules and public order standards is an integral part of the culture and consciousness of every citizen. We call on residents and guests of the capital to demonstrate high civic responsibility and respect for the work of utility workers. Together, we can ensure cleanliness, order and improvement of our city," the Dushanbe Interior Ministry emphasized.
The capital's Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded that such measures are necessary and are aimed at ensuring the sanitary well-being of the population, as well as maintaining public order in the city.
