On July 10, 2025, the 63rd meeting of the Interstate Council "Radio Navigation" was held in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic), the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reports.
The meeting was attended by authorized members of the council from the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Interstate Council "Radio Navigation", the plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Belarus in the council, Vladimir Aleksandrovich Tsalko.
It was noted that the council, as an interstate coordinating and consultative body, promotes the development and joint use of radio navigation systems and radio navigation facilities, the solution of target tasks in geodesy, geology, land management, as well as the implementation of work in the Commonwealth of Independent States to create integrated radio navigation fields and provide all consumers with navigation information.
The members of the Council reviewed and approved the results of the meeting of national government customers of the Interstate Radio Navigation Program of the CIS Member States for 2023–2026, which took place on July 9, 2025, and discussed issues related to the implementation of the Interstate Radio Navigation Program in 2024–2025.
One of the key issues of the council meeting was the consideration of the draft Interstate Radio Navigation Program of the CIS Member States for 2027–2030. The draft program submitted by national government customers was approved and a decision was made to send it to the CIS Executive Committee for further consideration by the highest bodies of the CIS in accordance with the established procedure.
The next meeting of the Interstate Council "Radio Navigation" is scheduled to be held in November 2025 in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan).
