The Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, Solekha Kholmahmadzoda, held a meeting with the President of the Landtag of the Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt of the Federal Republic of Germany, Gunnar Schellenbergen, the press service of the department reported.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of regulating labor migration and developing human capital. As S. Kholmahmadzoda noted, the Ministry of Labor actively cooperates with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), including in the implementation of projects aimed at developing the adult education system, supporting returning migrants and their employment.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation between the State Institution "Agency for Employment Abroad" and a number of German companies, such as Askania Future GmbH, Agora Invest GmbH and SIT International UG. The prospects for training specialists taking into account the requirements of the German labor market, in particular the federal state of Saxony, were considered. The discussion concerned such areas as social services, the beauty and health industry, cosmetology, hairdressing, physiotherapy, cargo transportation, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and others.
The parties discussed the possibility of organizing short-term courses on modern skills at the State Institution “Center for the Development of Crafts and Modern Professional Skills”, introducing advanced German methods in teaching crafts, as well as teaching the German language.
The German delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Center, including training in the specialties of cook, mechanic, seamstress, make-up artist-hairdresser, electrician, confectioner, as well as in the study of the Korean language. The guests expressed their willingness to cooperate with this institution.
Currently, the Center and its branches offer courses in 119 professions. This year, the institution trains military personnel on a contractual basis with the Ministry of Defense. The delegation attended the "Cook" group classes organized for 24 military personnel and gave a positive assessment of the training.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to deepen bilateral cooperation and implement new joint initiatives.
