On May 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Salim al-Malik, who arrived in Dushanbe to participate in the first High-Level International Conference on Glacier Conservation, the press service of the head of state reported.
The country's President Emomali Rahmon noted that Tajikistan attaches particular importance to expanding cooperation in the fields of culture, science and education with international partners such as ISESCO.

One of the key topics of the conversation was the development of joint projects in the field of studying intangible heritage, popularizing traditional crafts and strengthening the scientific base for the protection of historical monuments.
It was emphasized that Tajikistan is ready, in cooperation with ISESCO, to continue to contribute to the development of the cultural and scientific space, both at the regional and global levels, as well as in the field of education, relying on its rich scientific and cultural heritage.
