The city of Khujand hosted another event within the framework of the republican campaign "Caravan of Health", aimed at expanding the population's access to free medical care. As reported by the Health Department of the Sughd Region, on May 23, a centralized information and diagnostic campaign was held at the State Institution "Family and Child Support Center" with the participation of specialists from the leading medical institutions of the region.
More than 20 doctors of various specialties took part in the event — pediatricians, therapists, endocrinologists, gynecologists and laboratory technicians. During the event, specialists conducted a comprehensive examination of 36 pupils of the center. Particular attention was paid to the early detection of infectious and chronic diseases, as well as congenital pathologies, anemia, hypotrophy and dysfunction of the endocrine system.

All medical services were provided free of charge. In addition to diagnostic procedures, parents and staff were provided with useful information on disease prevention, healthy eating, and the need for regular medical examinations of children.
The event became part of a comprehensive state strategy to strengthen the healthcare system and promote healthy lifestyles among vulnerable groups. The Caravan of Health campaign is implemented by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan with the support of the Government of the Republic and covers all regions of the country.

As the organizers noted, such events not only contribute to the health of children, but also improve the level of professional training of medical workers in the regions.
