On June 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon remotely laid the foundation stone for the construction of a solar power plant in the Shugnan district, an educational institution in the Roshtkala district, and also commissioned three preschool educational institutions in the Roshtkala and Ishkashim districts, the press service of the head of state reported.
Solar power plants in the Murghab district were built on the basis of a project involving foreign investment.
The capacity of the Alicul solar power plant is 2.9 megawatts, and that of Chichikdekh is 0.54 megawatts. Until now, residents of the villages of Alicul and Chichikdekh in the Murghab district had no access to electricity.
The implementation of the goals of the Government of the country, the attraction of investments and the introduction of modern technologies made it possible to provide a constant supply of electricity to about 400 households, departments and institutions in these villages of the Murghab district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.
Also on this day, the project of the solar power plant Rozh, which will be built in the rural jamoat of Suchan in the Shugnan district, was presented. The energy facility with a capacity of 3 megawatts will be built with the involvement of foreign investment.
Emomali Rahmon instructed the relevant officials of the industry, workers and specialists to fully utilize natural resources, fulfill planned plans in a timely manner and increase the production potential of the energy industry.
Also on this day, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon launched the construction of the building of secondary general education institution No. 18. The educational institution will be built for children from the villages of Dashtak and Jangal in the Roshtkala district. The educational facility consists of two floors and is designed for 240 seats in two shifts.
With the participation of the head of state, 3 kindergartens in the Roshtkala and Ishkashim districts were put into operation in a virtual format.
Preschool institution No. 2 was put into operation in the village of Mindom and preschool institution No. 3 in the village of Rizhezd. Both preschool educational institutions in the Roshtkala district are designed for 60 students.
Also in the village of Darshai, Vakhan settlement, Ishkashim district, a preschool institution for 35 children was put into operation. It turned out to be possible to cover the children of this remote village in terms of meeting the needs for preschool education.
It was also reported that construction of a two-story kindergarten for 150 children is currently ongoing in the village of Vrang in the Ishkashim district.
The head of state assessed the inclusion of preschool education as the basis for the formation of children's knowledge and the future adult life of young people with a sense of self-knowledge and self-awareness.
