Employees of the Department for the Prevention of Juvenile and Youth Crime of the Dushanbe City Police Department conducted a targeted nighttime preventive operation aimed at identifying and preventing unlawful behavior of teenagers in the capital. This was reported by the press service of the Dushanbe City Police Department.
During the raids, police officers found that a number of parents were irresponsible in raising and supervising their children. As a result, minors spent their time aimlessly on the streets at night and also became addicted to computer games with elements of violence and cruelty, which negatively affected their behavior.
As part of the operation, administrative protocols were drawn up against the parents of 17 minors under Article 90 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan, which provides for liability for improper performance of duties related to raising children.
The police call on parents and legal representatives to pay special attention to the upbringing of children, monitor their leisure time and not leave minors unattended in order to prevent possible offenses and ensure the safety of the younger generation.
