In Minsk, Republic of Belarus, the next, nineteenth meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States was held, in which the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan Muzaffar Ashuriyon took part, NIAT Khovar reports with reference to the Ministry of Justice.
The event was attended by First Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Igor Petrishenko.
Speaking to the members of the Council, Petrishchenko stated that the Council of Ministers of Justice is an effective platform for professional dialogue and promising solutions, for exchanging experience and defining common approaches in the legal sphere.
In particular, Muzaffar Ashuriyon in his speech spoke about Tajikistan's achievements in the field of digitalization and improvement of the activities of civil registry offices.
It was noted that the comprehensive development of digital technologies, including modern information and communication technologies, is the basis for ensuring sustainable economic development and increasing the country's international competitiveness. Therefore, Tajikistan is taking consistent steps to provide high-quality public services by introducing an "electronic government" system.
By the decision of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS Member States, the Concept for the creation of a unified electronic system of information exchange between the ministries of justice of the CIS Member States, the Action Plan of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS Member States for the preparation and announcement of 2027 as the "Year of Legal Education in the CIS", and the Plan of the main events of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the CIS Member States for 2026 were approved.
