In Istaravshan, 267 winners of republican competitions were awarded prizes worth 165 thousand somoni

The city of Istaravshan hosted an awards ceremony for the winners of city stages of republican competitions, timed to coincide with the Day of National Unity. During the event, 267 participants were awarded diplomas and cash prizes totaling about 165 thousand somoni. This was reported by the press service of the city chairman.

The ceremonial event took place on June 25 in the assembly hall of the local boarding school. The welcoming speech was given by the chairman of the city of Istaravshan, Adham Ma'murzoda, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives for educating young people in the spirit of national traditions and patriotism.

"The constant growth in the number of participants and winners from Istaravshan indicates the growing interest of young people in intellectual and cultural achievements. This reflects the political course of the Esteemed Leader of the Nation to support and develop the younger generation," the head of the city noted.

According to him, the organization of the republican competitions “Tajikistan is my beloved Motherland”, “The Book of Wisdom is the Radiance of Dawn” and “Knowledge is the Light of Enlightenment” contributes to the formation of spiritual and moral values, strengthening of national identity and development of the creative potential of young people.

Following the city stage, the awards were distributed as follows:

60 winners of the “Tajikistan – my beloved Motherland” competition received a total of 60,367 somoni;

87 winners of the competition “The Radiance of Dawn Wisdom – Book” – 43,893 somoni;

120 winners of the “Knowledge is the light of enlightenment!” competition — 60,180 somoni.

At the end of the gala event, the winners presented the audience with a literary and cultural program, which included poems, musical and theatrical numbers dedicated to the theme of national unity and the cultural heritage of Tajikistan.

The ceremony took place in an atmosphere of celebration and inspiration, leaving the participants with vivid impressions and confidence in the importance of intellectual and patriotic education of the younger generation.
