In connection with the aggravation of the situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, an operational headquarters has been created at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Tehran, the purpose of which is to coordinate actions to provide assistance to citizens wishing to leave the territory of Iran. This was reported by the diplomatic mission of the republic.
The headquarters operates around the clock, receiving citizens’ requests, organizing logistics and interacting with the authorities of neighboring states.
“Citizens of Tajikistan who are in Iran and wish to leave can call the Embassy by phone or send information and copies of their passports by email,” the statement said.

The message also emphasizes that for the safe exit of citizens, it is strongly recommended to use the international border crossings "Bajgiran" (Iran – Turkmenistan) and "Astara" (Iran – Azerbaijan). Exit through these points requires prior approval from the competent authorities of Iran, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, which will be provided by the Embassy.
Citizens are strongly advised to submit copies of their foreign passports to the headquarters in advance, indicating their WhatsApp or Iranian mobile phone number for quick communication and subsequent coordination.
“The Embassy is taking all necessary measures to protect and evacuate citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan who are in high-risk areas,” the statement emphasized.
