A charity event to collect humanitarian aid for residents of the city of Rogun, including orphans and people with disabilities, was held in Yekaterinburg. This was reported by the Representative Office of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Coordination Council at the Consulate General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Yekaterinburg under the leadership of Umarov Yokubjon, as part of the implementation of the Concept for attracting compatriots abroad as partners in the country's development for 2021-2025.
Patriotic entrepreneurs, representatives of public organizations and activists of the Tajik diaspora took part in the charity event. As a result, over 1.7 tons of seasonal clothing and footwear, as well as wheelchairs and means of transportation for people with disabilities, were collected and sent to Tajikistan.
The organizers emphasize that such events are traditionally timed to coincide with national and state holidays and are inspired by the policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. Compatriots in their activities are guided by the instructions of the Head of State and worthily represent the Tajik people abroad.
The Representative Office noted that work to attract compatriots to socially significant initiatives will continue, including participation in national programs and the implementation of charitable projects for the benefit of the Motherland.
