On June 4, 2025, in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyz Republic), two anniversary meetings were held at the residence of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic: the 80th meeting of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the CIS Member States (CHCS CIS) and the 50th meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the EAEU Member States (JBCCS), the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reports.
The 80th meeting of the CIS SRTC was attended by the heads of customs services of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Amangeldiev Daniyar Dzholdoshevich, as well as a representative of the CIS Executive Committee.



On the eve of the meeting of the CIS SRTS, a meeting of experts from the customs services of the CIS member states was held to discuss and agree on the agenda items of the Council meeting.
The meeting of the CIS SRTS was opened by the Chairman of the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, Almaz Abdyldaevich Saliev.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, D.D. Amangeldiev, welcomed the participants of the meeting and noted that the CIS SRTS and the OKTS are authoritative platforms for coordinating issues of customs cooperation and developing effective interaction between the customs services of the CIS member states.
Amangeldiev D.D. noted that in the context of new challenges of our time, the main focus is on consolidating the efforts of the CIS member states to find and reach practical solutions to deepen cooperation in areas of interest to the Commonwealth states.
The 80th meeting of the CIS SRTS was chaired by the Chairman of the Council, Head of the Federal Customs Service (Russian Federation) Valery Ivanovich Pikalev, who expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for the opportunity to hold meetings of the CIS SRTS and the OKTS in such a beautiful place in the Kyrgyz Republic – Issyk-Kul.
V.I. Pikalev also noted the symbolism of holding the 80th meeting of the CIS SRTC in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of our peoples in the Great Patriotic War. The participants of the meeting honored the memory of the fallen soldiers – representatives of all CIS member states with a minute of silence.
During the meeting of the CIS SRTS, 9 agenda items were discussed and corresponding decisions were made.
In addition, particularly distinguished employees of the customs services of the CIS member states were awarded the CIS SRTS badges.
It is proposed to hold the next, 81st meeting of the CIS SRTC in the Republic of Tajikistan in September 2025.
