Schoolchildren from Tajikistan successfully performed at the International Chemistry Olympiad named after Abu Rayhan Biruni, which was held from May 28 to June 4 in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan). This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Representatives from more than 14 countries took part in the competition, demonstrating a high level of training in the field of chemical sciences. The Tajik team included four students, two of whom became prize winners – one silver and one bronze medal.

“This achievement is the result of targeted work to develop the school education system, prepare gifted children and improve the quality of teaching natural sciences in the republic,” the ministry noted.
Participation in such a prestigious international Olympiad and the awards received confirm the high potential of Tajik schoolchildren and the effectiveness of state policy in supporting talented youth.
The Ministry of Education emphasized that Tajikistan will continue to actively participate in international educational forums and Olympiads, promoting the scientific and intellectual development of the younger generation.
