The school team of Tajikistan successfully performed at the International Olympiad FEMO (Future Education Model Olympiad), which was held from May 29 to June 2 in Baku (Azerbaijan). This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Students from more than 18 countries took part in the prestigious educational competition. The delegation of Tajikistan was represented by 37 schoolchildren, who demonstrated a high level of training and won a total of 17 medals – 2 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze.



As noted by the department, the participation of Tajik schoolchildren in international intellectual competitions indicates an increase in the quality of school education, an expansion of the scientific horizons of students and an increased interest in the exact and natural sciences.
“The victory at the FEMO Olympiad confirms the competitiveness of the Tajik education system in the international arena and reflects the successful implementation of educational policy aimed at supporting talented youth,” the ministry emphasized.
The International FEMO Olympiad is held annually and is aimed at developing creative and logical thinking in schoolchildren, promoting international scientific and educational cooperation and identifying young talents in the fields of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering.
