On June 3, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali got acquainted with the construction work at the National Stadium of Tajikistan in the city of Dushanbe, the press service of the head of state reported.
The large sports facility is built on an area of 9.5 hectares and is designed for more than 30 thousand seats. The construction of the largest sports facility in Tajikistan will contribute to the creation of infrastructure in the country's capital for work and provision of high-level services.










Let us recall that on March 15, 2019, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon, together with the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali, gave the official start to the construction of the stadium in the capital and got acquainted with the stadium construction project.
Currently, work is underway at the National Stadium of Tajikistan to level the ground, install iron structures, lay electrical cables and internet lines, water lines, heating, air purifiers, do the interior finishing of buildings, tiling and other work.
During the presentation of the project of the structures and the construction materials used, Emomali Rahmon instructed workers and specialists to perform construction work efficiently and in accordance with standard requirements, taking into account national elements.
The stadium will have 45 offices and a conference hall, 36 high-level stands for fans (VIP), 9 medical centers, 36 canteens and a museum of Tajik football in accordance with international standards.
Currently, 725 specialists and workers carry out construction daily according to the project.
There will be 72 television recording devices installed to record the competition broadcasts. Lighting of the square and recreation areas will be provided by 312 special lamps.
The construction of large sports facilities in the city of Dushanbe in continuation of the successful Tajik Youth Games lays a real foundation for the development of this sport in Tajikistan and the region.
The National Stadium of Tajikistan will feature a modern design using aluminum panels symbolizing water waves. It is also planned to build modern fountains around the stadium.
In addition, two bridges will be built across the Varzob and Luchob rivers to allow the movement of football fans in accordance with the project requirements, and this place will be transformed into a modern sports town.
In general, the construction of the National Stadium of Tajikistan based on the project will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the International Football Federation, which will create conditions for holding international competitions.
Football is the most popular sport in the world. Based on the initiative of the President of the Central Asian Football Confederation, the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali and the adopted resolution of the United Nations, every year on May 25th the world celebrates World Football Day.
The head of state, noting the achievements of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, emphasized the importance and timeliness of creating conditions for the development of this sport, holding international competitions and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
