The organization of illegal migration and illegal import of migrants has been stopped in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Chui Region Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported on June 2, AKIpress reports.
On May 14, the Keminsky District Department of Internal Affairs received information that a foreigner was living and working illegally in a guest house in the village of Karool-Dobo. A preliminary investigation was launched into this fact, during which the police established the identity of the illegal immigrant. It turned out to be B.A., born in 2006. Since March 14, he had been working as a builder in one of the LLCs in the village of Karool-Dobo. He was found to have a fake visa.
In connection with this, the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Chui Region opened a criminal case under Article 168 (“Organization of illegal migration, illegal import (export) of migrants”) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the investigation, another foreigner worked as an accountant in this company. He came up with a scheme to attract foreigners to work by bringing them to Kyrgyzstan under the guise of ethnic Kyrgyz. Thus, he offered foreign companies official employment and legalization of stay in Kyrgyzstan, promising to issue permits. However, the accountant made fake documents, and these data were entered into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they were issued as M-Visa to ethnic Kyrgyz for a period of one year.
According to preliminary data, more than 200 foreigners have received such visas and are using them.
On May 31, Zh.M., born in 1989, was detained and taken into custody in Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1.
The Main Directorate of Internal Affairs did not specify which country the illegal migrants are citizens of.
As part of the investigation, the police are establishing the involvement of the detainee in other similar crimes.
