The charity society of volunteers "28 rings of Tajikistan" donated 3,400 units of warm clothing for premature babies to the Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan, the press service of the department reported.
The handover ceremony took place on May 27. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan Zulfiya Abdusamatzoda, First Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan Nigina Alizoda, as well as the management and staff of the institute.

Speaking at the event, Zulfiya Abdusamatzoda expressed gratitude to the charity for its active civic position and concern for the needs of premature newborns. She noted that such an initiative provides real support to the country's medical institutions and is an example of humanity and social cohesion.
The public association "28 rings of Tajikistan" was founded on January 17, 2022. Today, its members are more than 20 girls and women volunteers who knit warm clothes – socks, hats and other items – for premature babies in medical institutions of the republic.
The event is timed to coincide with International Children's Day, which is celebrated annually on June 1. This date was established in 1925 at the World Conference on Child Welfare in Geneva. Events dedicated to Children's Day are held throughout the country and are aimed at supporting and protecting the rights of the youngest citizens.
According to the organizers, such charitable initiatives will continue in the future, including donating clothing to other medical institutions that treat premature and newborn babies.
