The Republic of Tajikistan was represented at the International Business Forum “Prospects for Trade and Economic Cooperation between Eastern Europe and the Countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus,” which was held on May 16 in Kiev, the Embassy of Tajikistan in Ukraine reported .
The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Ukraine Davlatali Nazrizoda, who spoke at the opening ceremony of the forum.
In his address, the ambassador noted that Tajikistan, like other Central Asian states, has significant economic and trade potential. He emphasized the republic's desire to further expand foreign economic relations, increase trade volumes and develop mutually beneficial cooperation with interested countries, including Ukraine.





During the forum, participants were given a presentation on the main achievements of Tajikistan over the years of independence. Using video materials, successes in implementing sustainable development goals, measures to improve the investment climate, as well as prospects in the fields of economics, industry, energy, tourism, digital technologies and services were demonstrated.
The forum was organized with the support of the "Fund of Civil Diplomacy of Ukraine" and the "Ukrainian Women's Institute of Public Diplomacy in Belgium". Representatives of the diplomatic corps of Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan and Moldova, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, employees of relevant ministries, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as Ukrainian companies and manufacturing enterprises took part in its work.

The participants of the event noted the importance of holding such platforms for the development of trade and economic cooperation, expansion of export potential, attraction of investments, transfer of technologies and strengthening of interstate economic cooperation.
