Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda held a meeting with the Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Hassan Al-Khuwaizi. This was reported on Monday by the press service of the Government of Tajikistan.
The parties discussed issues of expanding trade and economic ties between the two countries. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of investment projects in the areas of industry, agriculture and tourism.


As the meeting participants noted, today there are broad opportunities for the creation of joint ventures, including in the field of processing agricultural products – fruits, vegetables, honey, as well as cotton fiber and the export of mineral and drinking water.
"Tajikistan attaches great importance to the development of partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is interested in attracting investments for the implementation of infrastructure and production projects," emphasized Kokhir Rasulzoda.
The Saudi side, in turn, expressed its readiness to intensify business ties and exchange business delegations to study the opportunities of the Tajik market.
Following the talks, mutual interest in deepening cooperation and launching joint economic initiatives was confirmed.
