As a result of targeted preventive measures, police officers of the city of Dushanbe detained two owners of grocery stores for selling tobacco products to minors. This was reported by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Dushanbe.
According to official information, during the raid, facts of the sale of tobacco products to persons under 18 were revealed. The violators were 45-year-old resident of Dushanbe Islomiddin Salayev and 34-year-old resident of Baljuvan district Mahmadali Pirov. It was established that the citizens, acting with the aim of obtaining material benefit, knowingly sold cigarettes to the teenager.




In this case, administrative protocols were drawn up against the offenders under Article 463 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan. The perpetrators were held liable in the form of fines.
The Dushanbe Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds that the sale of tobacco products to minors is strictly prohibited by the country's legislation, and calls on the owners of retail outlets to comply with the established standards.
Measures to prevent such violations will continue as planned.
