"Cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of healthcare, including ophthalmology, continues to develop and brings real benefits to our people. The visit of German specialists will improve the quality of medical care in our country and enhance the qualifications of our doctors," noted Gafur Mukhsinzoda.

The main purpose of the stay of German ophthalmologists in Tajikistan is to provide medical care to patients with various eye diseases, as well as to exchange experience with Tajik colleagues. As part of the working trip to the Republic of Tajikistan, German doctors will conduct diagnostics, consultations and surgical operations for patients suffering from various eye diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma and others.
Particular attention will be paid to patients requiring complex surgical interventions, as well as the exchange of new methods of diagnostics and treatment in ophthalmology. In particular, German specialists will perform eye surgeries for 30 patients at the State Institution "National Medical Center of the Republic of Tajikistan "Shifobakhsh", which is one of the leading medical institutions in the country.
The medical team from Germany will work in close cooperation with their Tajik colleagues, which will provide an opportunity to improve the qualifications of local specialists and introduce advanced medical technologies into practice.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan, this form of cooperation with international medical institutions is an important step towards improving the quality of medical services and the availability of highly qualified care for citizens of Tajikistan.
