The first round of the Centralized Entrance Examinations (CEE) for applicants to secondary and higher vocational education institutions has begun in Tajikistan. According to the National Testing Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the main stage of the examinations started on July 1 with the participation of more than 11,960 applicants.
Examinations are held for applicants registered at the main stage of registration, in parts A and B:
Part A – testing based on secondary (complete) general education,
Part B is a test based on basic general education.
The first round covers 47 examination centers organized on the basis of general education institutions in 21 cities and districts of the republic, including: Dushanbe city (Ismoili Somoni, Sino, Firdavsi and Shokhmansur districts), Rasht region, Tursunzade, Khujand, Istaravshan, Isfara, Kanibadam, Penjikent, Bobojon Gafurov, Bokhtar, Kulyab, Vose, Dangara, Yovon, Kushoniyon, Jaloliddini Balkhi, Shahritus and Khorog.
The exams will last until July 9 of this year. During this period, all points operate in strict accordance with the approved sanitary and organizational standards.
The National Testing Center emphasized that the second round of exams for the same parts – A and B – will take place on July 13. It will be organized on the basis of schools in six cities and two districts: Dushanbe, Khujand, Penjikent, Bokhtar, Kulyab, as well as Dangara and Rasht.
Centralized entrance examinations are held annually and are a mandatory stage of the admission campaign for applicants to universities and colleges. The organization of examinations is carried out by the National Testing Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
