In the rural jamoat of Navobod in the city of Gissar, asphalt paving works have begun in the village of Shopur. The campaign launch ceremony took place on the morning of June 28 with the participation of the mayor of the city of Gissar, member of the National Council of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Nosirzoda Jabbor, as well as active residents of the village. This was reported by the press service of the city mayor's office.
The paving of the road is being carried out with the support of local entrepreneurs and the residents themselves in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. At the beginning of the ceremony, accompanied by parting words and blessings from elders, city leaders and the public symbolically applied the first layer of asphalt, expressing confidence in the high quality of the work.
In his speech, Nosirzoda Jabbor expressed gratitude to the villagers for their initiative, noting that such actions reflect the spirit of patriotism and creation promoted by the country's President Emomali Rahmon. He emphasized that citizens' participation in the improvement of territories is an example for young people and an important contribution to the sustainable development of the community.
As part of the continuation of the working visit, the mayor also got acquainted with the progress of concreting the road in the village of Chukurak of the same jamoat, and then visited the agricultural lands of Khaidar Mirov LLC, where onion seeds are being harvested and cotton weeded. The head of the city highly appreciated the work of farmers and emphasized the importance of agriculture in ensuring food security and strengthening the region's economy.
