The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Mukhriddin held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Tajikistan Ji Shumin in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and China. Particular attention was paid to strengthening strategic partnership, implementing joint economic and infrastructure projects, as well as interaction within international organizations.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude to Ambassador Ji Shumin for his personal contribution to the development of Tajik-Chinese relations and emphasized that the years of his work in Dushanbe were marked by the active promotion of dialogue in the political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.
In turn, the head of the Chinese diplomatic mission thanked the leadership of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the support and fruitful cooperation provided to him throughout his stay in the country. He expressed confidence in the further deepening and expansion of ties between Beijing and Dushanbe for the benefit of the two peoples.
