On June 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, in continuation of his working visit to Vanj district, commissioned the Industrial Park of the district.
The industrial park covers a total area of 788 square meters and includes a total of 6 small manufacturing enterprises, whose activities focus on pasta production, soybean product packaging, peanut oil processing, dried fruit processing and packaging, soap production, and plastic door and window manufacturing.
The head of state, the respected Emomali Rahmon, first visited the pasta production and soybean product packaging workshop and got acquainted with the progress of work on this production line.
This workshop was created within the framework of the implementation of the fourth national goal – accelerated industrialization of the country, it is equipped with new generation equipment and technologies. The workshop equipment is manufactured by well-known world companies and consumes little electricity.
The peanut butter and dried fruit processing shop also has established production using modern methods, and employs 6 people. Before starting work, the workers underwent retraining courses.
The soap and plastic door and window production workshops are another part of the Industrial Park, where highly qualified specialists work.
During the visit, the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, expressed satisfaction with the work performed and the creation of such enterprises and gave specific instructions and orders to responsible persons to increase production capacity and create new jobs.
Once the Industrial Park is commissioned, a total of 36 local residents will be provided with jobs.
It should be noted that the Vanj district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region is considered an agricultural region and occupies a significant place in the production of agricultural products. The raw materials processed at the enterprises of the Industrial Park come from local dehkan farms. It is planned that in addition to deliveries to the domestic market, the products of the Industrial Park will also be exported abroad.
The head of state, the respected Emomali Rahmon, thanked the workers for their coherence in implementing the goals of the country's government and regarded this act as a role model.
In turn, the responsible persons of the Industrial Park thanked the Head of State for supporting the private sector and providing good opportunities for activity.
