It should be noted that the state border of Tajikistan is a reliable shield for the region, and security personnel and border guards guard it around the clock.
The State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan is fighting to identify and suppress illegal trafficking of drugs, weapons and ammunition on the border line and guards the state border, which is considered one of the main and key pillars of national statehood, like the apple of its eye. Transnational organized crime groups use the length of the border, the complex and vulnerable geographic location of the border areas with Afghanistan to smuggle drugs. As a result of their criminal activities, hundreds of people suffer from drug addiction and die, and their relatives and friends face misfortune and homelessness.
Along with terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking is considered an extremely serious crime, the consequences of which are catastrophic for humanity.
Criminals should not forget that the borders of sovereign countries are recognized as an important symbol of their statehood. Therefore, the state border of the Republic of Tajikistan is constantly, resolutely and tirelessly guarded. Any violator who tries to cross it will definitely be punished for his actions.
