The 6th meeting of the Interstate Working Group on the creation of a Unified System of Technical Coverage for Railways of the Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was held in Dushanbe on June 18–19, 2025, the press service of the Organization reports.
Representatives of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the Secretariat and the Joint Staff of the CSTO took part in the meeting. They presented reports on the work done to organize technical cover measures.
The participants also discussed priority tasks and exchanged views on issues of sustainable operation of railway transport in the face of possible threats.
Following the meeting, a Protocol was signed, which consolidated the agreements reached and defined areas of further cooperation.
