On Sunday, Fu Hua, Director General of the Chinese state news agency Xinhua, held a meeting with Raushan Kazhibayeva, Director General of the NAO "Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan". During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the media sphere and signed an agreement to expand cooperation.
During the meeting, which took place in Astana on the sidelines of the Forum of Information Agencies for the Development of Cooperation and the International Communication Conference "Silk Road", the heads of the two media structures emphasized the strategic importance of the information partnership between China and Kazakhstan, expressing their readiness to take cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
Speaking following the talks, Fu Hua noted that in the context of a rapidly changing global information agenda, it is necessary to strengthen mutual trust between national media structures. He emphasized that the Xinhua Agency is interested in developing full-scale cooperation with its Kazakh colleagues, including in the field of introducing modern digital technologies, exchanging journalistic personnel and jointly producing media content.
Today, the information environment around the world is undergoing serious transformations. In such conditions, it is especially important to deepen cooperation between the leading media structures of our countries. We are ready to expand cooperation with the Television and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan, including at international venues such as the China-Central Asia News Agency Forum and the SCO Media Forum. This will contribute to the construction of a Chinese-Kazakh community with a common destiny, the head of Xinhua emphasized.
For her part, Raushan Kazhibayeva expressed gratitude for the high level of interaction between the Television and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan and the Xinhua News Agency, particularly noting the constructive nature of the partnership.

Kazakhstan is interested in exchanging information, joint projects in the field of new media and developing human resources. The signed agreement provides for the deepening of bilateral ties, the implementation of joint media projects, regular exchange of journalists, trainings and seminars, as well as the coordination of efforts at regional and international media forums.
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere and ended with an exchange of views on key issues of information policy and the prospects for Eurasian media cooperation.
