On June 19, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim met with the Editor-in-Chief of the international magazine "The Investor" Leandro Slowinski. The parties discussed the possibility of publishing a special issue of the magazine about Tajikistan , the press service of the ministry reported .
The head of the Ministry of Transport spoke in detail about the reforms carried out in the country in the transport sector under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The measures taken to develop regulatory legal acts, develop infrastructure, improve the quality of roads, digitalize the industry, inventory road assets, transition to electric transport and other areas were listed.
It was noted that in the latest World Economic Forum ranking of the quality of roads, Tajikistan took 44th place among 165 countries in the world, improving its position by 6 positions compared to the previous ranking.
Leandro Slowinski, in turn, highly appreciated the transformations taking place in Tajikistan in various sectors, which have radically changed the lives of the people. He expressed his readiness to contribute to a broader presentation of Tajikistan to the global business community, promoting the country on the international market as one of the most attractive for cooperation, investment and tourism.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange information on certain topics and conduct a PR campaign aimed at creating a positive image of Tajikistan in the international arena, as well as to publish a special issue of The Investor magazine dedicated to Tajikistan.
As part of his visit to Tajikistan, the Editor-in-Chief of The Investor will hold a series of meetings with the heads of relevant ministries and departments of our country.
